Monongahela Brass is a brass quintet based in North Central West Virginia. Formed in 2021 by Graduate Students at the West Virginia University School of Music, they strive to distinguish themselves among chamber ensembles in the region through recorded and live performances. MB has performed alongside the nationally recognized Salvation Army National Capitol Band, and their most recent recordings can be accessed on their YouTube channel. Monongahela Brass believes the future of brass music is rooted stylistic versatility and draw on the eclectic musical backgrounds of it’s members to deliver performances that feature the full range of brass chamber styles.
